Commissioned by Sèvres to investigate new typologies, this project is inspired by old ceramic slabs painted by hand, found in their archives. The idea was to create a contemporary version according to Sèvres’ needs. The outcome is an aluminium structure with a ceramic top that can be customized by an artist. The chamfer detail on the ceramic part lets the structure connect to the aluminium part without showing the fixation system. It can also be hanged on a wall, displayed on a table or used as low table.
